Sunday Baptism

As a church we are responsible to teach the Word of God, make disciples and baptize those disciples. To be accomplished everywhere until his return.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. - Matthew 28:19-20”

When a Christian gets baptized it means that they are making a public profession of faith responding to discipleship and Gods word. Water baptism is saying that the person has faith in in Christ and has been cleansed from all of their sins. They have a new life.

Baptism is the outward testimony of what’s taken place inside of them. It is an act of obedience after salvation, but is NOT required for salvation. Read Acts 2:41 or Acts 16:14-15 and you will see the order of events. 1) salvation 2) baptism.

Baptism represents Christs death, burial and resurrection and the fact that the believer is all in. They proclaim that they are indeed a new creation in Christ and will boldly live for Him.
